Collator machine - set of several feeders used for grouping of products

Machine designed for completion of sets of products for foiling process.

Advantages of the solution:
Short changeover times and moduler construction result in a very elastic, easy to use machine. It consists of the following components: product conveyor, 2-3 product feeders; if necessary, it can also be equipped with next feeders or coding units (for example: labeling machines).
Mounting of feeders allows their easy movement alongside the machine or switching off from production process (if needed, floorstands for feeders can be delivered with electric adjustment, to ease the regulation process).

Description of operation:
Main feeder is mounted upstream the machine. Its task is to feed the main product (for example: magazine) on the surface of the convyeor.

Next feeders (and coding units, if mounted) add supplementary elements to the package or code the package. Final feeder usually places address label visible on top of the stack.

Typical characteristics of the machine:
- standard dimensions of fed products: min. 100 x 150 mm, max. 300 x 350 mm (depending on dimensions of chosen feeder; other dimensions of products also available)
- maximum capacity: 120 cycles/min (for A4 product format)
- continuous or intermittent work possible
- control unit: PLC class
