Kraus coding line for pharmaceutical cartons

Machine designed for printing variable data or labeling of flat cartons. Its construction complies with all requirements for equipment dedicated for pharmaceutical business.

Short changeover times and modular construction make the machine very easy in operation and user friendly.
Mounting brackets for marking units allow printing or coding of the whole surface of products being transported on the conveyor.

Description of operation:
Kraus feeder mounted in the entry section of the machine feeds products on the vacuum conveyor (assuring ideal positioning of carton for further processes, as well as access to their whole surface).

Vision control system mounted downstream scans the printed code and transfers it to the database.

In case of wrong read, main control unit sends an impuls to rejection system and the product is being removed from the machine to collecting bin.

Cartons with good read are being transported to the end of the conveyor, where can be transferred for next process or been manually collected.

Machine characteristics:

- standard dimensions of fed products: min. 80 x 100 mm, max. 500 x 350 mm
- work speed: 60 m/min (with printing), 150 m/min (without printing)
- continuous or step-by-step operation possible

Options available:

- vacuum conveyor can be equipped with electric height adjustment
- end section of the machine can be equipped with collecting unit, allowing to stack the products
- feeder can be equipped with mechanical or ultrasonic double product feed control system
- feeder can be equipped with autoloader (which can transfer the products from another section of production line); length of autoloader: in range 500-3.000 mm
- machine can be equipped with light signal
