Machine for creating multipacks, integratated with banding system

Description of the job:

Single products are scanned and later on grouped as multipacks.

With use of QR codes full traceability is assured (both for single products, as well as for multipacks).

Advantages:
Each single product is checked at the begining of the process. The products can be delivered to the machine both in manual and automatic infeed mode.

Thanks to use of QR codes full traceability is possible. In addition, only proper multipacks (after positive verification of QR codes) leave the machine.

Functionality:

Single products are placed on infeed conveyor. First scanner scans QR code. If the code is not readable, the product is removed from the line.

Positively verified products are forwarded to a pneumatic grouping machine. Set of (for example) five products is forwarded to a banding machine and multipack is created.

Next QR code is printed on a banding tape.

Code on ready multipack is being scanned by second scanner and multipack is forwarded to an exit conveyor.

If the QR code is not proper, the multipack is being removed from the line.

Multipacks with proper read are being collected from the line.

- Capacity: 55 pieces/min (11 multipacks of 5 pieces)

- Power supply: 400 VAC, 50/60 Hz
- Control system: PLC class control system
